Text Box: Preschool Piano Program

Puget Sounds Piano Studio’s Preschool Piano Program is designed to nurture and build upon a child’s innate love of music.  Students begin working with familiar melodies early on,  initially reading by color.  Gradually, traditional notation will replace the colorful pre-notation.   Preschool Piano Classes are taught in small groups of three to five students, ages 3-4.  All levels of the Preschool Piano Program include singing, listening, movement, working with rhythm instruments, and playing the piano.  Parents are encouraged to attend and participate.  A piano or keyboard at home is encouraged but not required.  Each 8-week session is concluded with a small performance for family and friends.
